HighLevel Founder Plan: The $497 Plan, Renamed
If you've seen "Founder Plan" all over HighLevel since LevelUp 2026 and wondered whether it's a new, pricier tier: it isn't. It's HighLevel's top agency plan under a new name. Here's what HighLevel says it is, what's included, what's still on the way, and how to decide whether you need it.
Quick take:
- The Founder Plan is HighLevel's "new name for the $497/month Agency Pro Plan." The price is the same.
- It includes everything in the $97 and $297 plans plus the Agency Pro features, with new Founder-only tools and perks added. Some of those are still marked "Coming Soon."
- Already on the $497 Agency Pro plan? HighLevel says you move over automatically, with nothing to do.
The short answer: same $497 plan, new name
HighLevel's help center puts it plainly: "The HighLevel Founder Plan is the new name for the $497/month Agency Pro Plan." It "retains the existing Agency Pro capabilities along with all features of the $97 and $297 plans while introducing additional tools, products, and opportunities."
You'll still see older names around the web, and even in a few places on HighLevel's own pricing page, including "Agency Pro," "Pro Plan" and "SaaS Pro." They all refer to the $497 tier.
HighLevel says the plan is designed for "agencies, consultants, service providers, SaaS entrepreneurs, and other business owners who help businesses succeed."
Try HighLevel Start monthly → · See annual pricing → HighLevel's standard plans include a 14-day free trial, according to HighLevel's pricing page. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel, and usage fees (phone, text, email, AI) can apply during the trial.
What it costs: monthly vs annual
From HighLevel's pricing page:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97/month | $970/year |
| Unlimited | $297/month | $2,970/year |
| Founder | $497/month | $4,970/year |
A few things to budget for on top of the plan:
- Usage costs. HighLevel's pricing FAQ says usage-based costs apply for telecommunications and AI, including phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage.
- Optional add-ons, such as AI Employee plans per sub-account, HIPAA compliance or a white-label mobile app, are priced separately on the pricing page.
- No long-term contract. HighLevel's FAQ says it runs month to month and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your dashboard. If you upgrade mid-month, you're charged the prorated difference.
What's included in the Founder Plan
On its pricing page, HighLevel lists the Founder Plan as "Everything in Unlimited Plan and…":
- Exclusive Founder feature set
- Rebilling with markup
- Founders Club access
- HL Partner Network access
- "The Most Free AI"
The help center adds that the Founder Plan includes unlimited sub-accounts and advanced API access.
The Founder-only features HighLevel lists today
HighLevel's Founder page lists these as exclusive to the plan:
| Feature | What HighLevel says it does |
|---|---|
| HighLevel Industries | Turn on niche features for specific sub-accounts, such as reservations and order management for restaurants, or job routing for home services |
| Custom Navs | Re-order and group the left-hand navigation to create different experiences for clients |
| Events | Sell tickets, collect registrations and check people in by scanning QR codes |
| Workflow Maps | A bird's-eye view of how your workflows connect, searchable by users, tags, triggers and actions |
| Project Management | Projects, tasks and boards with owners and due dates |
| SaaS Mode | Pick features per plan; new signups get accounts, permissions and logins created automatically |
| User Reports | Per-team-member performance across calls, messages, appointments and deals |
| Rebilling with markup | Pass usage costs such as email, calls, texts and AI on to clients with your own markup |
| Advanced API access | Full API access for custom integrations |
| Ticketing | Turn support messages into tickets you can assign, prioritize and track |
| Meeting Rooms | Video meetings hosted from your CRM |
| Loyalty & Rewards | Loyalty programs for online and in-store customers |
| A2P Console | Monitor A2P campaign status for all your clients in one place |
| Custom Onboarding | Coming Soon (custom Launchpads to onboard clients) |
| Email Health Console | Coming Soon (deliverability, bounces and spam complaints across clients) |
Some of these were rolling out as of our check. Before you pick the plan for one specific feature, confirm it's live in your account.
AI on the Founder Plan
HighLevel's help center says AI assistants are free on every HighLevel plan for agency users; sub-account users pay for some assistants. It adds that the Founder Plan "includes access to advanced AI models and the highest usage limits." Its AI pricing doc adds two Founder-specific details:
- The AI Employee Starter plan ($20/month per sub-account) is available only to agencies on the $497 Founder plan. The Growth ($50) and Unlimited ($97) plans are available across agency plans.
- Agencies must be on the $497 plan to rebill AI Employee usage to clients.
Community and support perks
The Founder page also lists Founders Club access (an online community with live streams and masterminds), a Founder Support Plan (a dedicated support tier), discounted HighLevel event tickets, and in-person Founder meetups at HighLevel's headquarters.
Founder vs Unlimited: which do you need?
Unlimited ($297/month) already gives you unlimited sub-accounts and phone and email rebilling without markup. The Founder Plan makes sense when you need one of the things Unlimited doesn't have:
- You want to resell HighLevel as your own software. SaaS Mode and automated account creation live on the $497 plan.
- You want to add a markup when you rebill usage (texts, calls, email, AI) instead of passing it through at cost.
- You need a Founder-only feature, such as Industries, Custom Navs, Workflow Maps, Ticketing or the A2P Console.
- You want the AI Employee Starter plan for clients or need to rebill AI Employee usage.
If none of those apply yet, Unlimited is the honest pick for many growing agencies, and you can upgrade later. A solo marketer with up to three businesses may only need Starter.
Already on Agency Pro? Here's what happens
HighLevel's FAQ answers this directly: "Existing customers on the $497/month Agency Pro Plan automatically transition to the Founder Plan. No additional action is required to access the new Founder Plan benefits as they become available."
Two more answers from the same FAQ:
- Is joining the HighLevel Partner Network required? No, it's optional. But you need an active Founder Plan to be eligible.
- What if I downgrade? You lose access to the features that are exclusive to the Founder Plan.
